Photos from School: Check www.amiguitosamigos08-09.snapfish.com/snapfish to see photos and upload your own throughout the year!

Parent Handbook:  See our 2008-2009 handbook for useful information you can use throughout the year.

Spanish Workshops for Parents:  Please see our News page for more information!

Jueves/Viernes Social:

Occasionally we will host a Jueves Social and a Viernes Social.  Parents of attending children have a chance to socialize with other parents.  This means, after you drop off your child(ren), you can park and come into our lunch room for some coffee or tea and fruit...and an hour of conversation with other parents!  8:15-9:15.  Check our calendars to see if there is a Social this month!

Favor de llegar a tiempo (Please arrive on time)

Our students are young and we understand the need to be flexible that is why we give them 20 minutes to get here (8:05/1:05 – 8:20/1:20).  However, children that arrive after 8:20/1:20 disrupt circle time.  It is not fair for the rest of the students who arrive on time.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Volunteering

If you have talents or skills that you would like to share with us, (or can help file artwork!) please let us know.  We have sign-up sheets at the reception desk for specific volunteer needs, and we will facilitate volunteer meetings.  You don't have to speak Spanish to share.  We will provide the translation!   Occasionally, we will ask for your help with special projects (piñata making, pumpkin carving, etc.)

Visiting Amiguitos!

Parents may visit Amiguitos! at any time.  The Latin culture is family-oriented and this idea extends to the school.    We encourage you to join us during field trips and to celebrate special holidays with us.  We will not only celebrate American, but Mexican holidays as well.  You will be asked to participate in some cultural events and your ideas and comments are always welcomed.
